Welcome to the Miracles and Wonders Website
Welcome to the Miracles and Wonders website. We created this site following an up
close and personal experience with cancer that changed our lives and left us wanting
to share our experiences with others who may be facing a similar struggle or who
may simply need some uplifting news to brighten their day.
The menus to the left will guide you the various sections of the site which include
more information about us and our personal journey with cancer, practical advice for
those facing cancer and their caregivers, descriptions of the miracles that we
experienced, as well as frivolous information like descriptions of movies that we
enjoyed because of a positive message or meaningful scene.
Our story starts in October of 2005, but the work on this website didn't start until
April of the next year. Like our lives, the website is a work in progress. We will add
to it whenever we have time so check back in from time to time to see what's new.
Update: 10/27/09 I'm sorry that the site has gotten so stale and out of date. Debbie
was doing Chemo for the third time between June 2008 and February 2009 when
her oncologist finally decided that she needed a break. We spent the next several
months having fun, taking vacations, and generally enjoying life, but at the beginning
of August her health began to deteriorate. She started Chemo for the fourth time at
the beginning of September, but to no avail. She passed away peacefully in her own
bed on October 7, 2009. She is in God's hands now.
