My last day of symptom free life for a while, so what to do, what to do? I call my dentist to see if I can get in for a last minute appt for a cleaning and then go out for a big sushi lunch. Both of which are NO-NO's for germ and infection possibilities once I start chemo again. So if I'm going to get a cleaning and enjoy raw seafood, this is the time. Then an afternoon of shopping. I go to one of my fav bead stores and buy enough beads and supplies to do projects for the next few months, hoping I'll have enough energy to complete them. The clerk did wonder what I was preparing for, but totally understood once I told her of starting chemo. Her mom had gone through breast cancer and is now 6 years cancer free. That's always encouraging to hear.
